Né en 1961 à Nice (France), il vit à Sète (France).

 

D'abord compositeur, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot a orienté ses recherches vers la spatialisation et la visualisation du son. L'un de ses projets récents, vidéodrones, permet littéralement d'écouter le son des images. Il poursuit actuellement la réalisation d'une nouvelle série intitulée Schizoframes avec un dispositif qui accorde situation d'écoute et dimension visuelle en associant la présence des visiteurs.

 

Céleste Boursier-Mougenot présente aux Abattoirs – Musée frac Occitanie Toulouse une nouvelle version de Schizoframes avec un espace spécifique où le visiteur sera immergé dans un environnement visuel et sonore
