For nearly 30 years, Pascale Murtin, the left-hand man of Grand Magasin, has been devising pieces, acts and performances with François Hifler in which they examine language, its sound and its meanings. They have presented their productions in official or alternative, popular or clandestine venues and since 2019 have been co-directing Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers with Margot Videcoq.
With ÉPARPILLER (scatter), Pascale Murtin imagines a concert scattered in the courtyards of the hospital La Grave. Spectators are invited to move freely to listen to a succession of duos, trios, quartets or larger vocal ensembles. Polyphonic and polysemic, both simple and sophisticated, these songs will serve as a pretext for an acoustic experimentation of distances in the landscape and urban space.
A walk through the historic square of the La Grave Hospital, with no fixed meeting point or set route.
In partnership with La Place de la Danse, Centre de développement chorégraphique national de Toulouse.
