A musical setting for Mind Garden, the installation made by artist Arnaud Maguet at Villa Arson in 2008, Musique pour les plantes des Dieux, composed by Vincent Epplay, is a homage to the psychotropic herbarium created by Albert Hofmann and Richard Evans Schultes in the late 1970s.

Fred Bigot, Arnaud Maguet and Vincent Epplay will play this installation’s primitive, repetitive and hypnotic original soundtrack live, along with excerpts from their new album, Grautag, recorded for an installation by artist Nicolas Moulin. This dry, melancholy music, performed under the fluorescent strip lights of waiting rooms, is aimed mainly at potted plants.
