Mustafa Kaplan, a young Turkish choreographer, has been working for several years with Filiz Sizanli, an outstanding dancer who has performed with Mathilde Monnier, Emmanuelle Huyhn and Loïc Touzé. Together, they have developed an intense and meticulous research on movement, energy and risk.

In Dolap ("cupboard" in Turkish), the bodies of the two dancers confront the mass and volume of a fridge with violence and skill, offering us a piece of rare power, all tension and balance. Minimalist and spectacular, Dolap is a series of variations on the physical constraint induced by this heavy object falling and falling again with regularity and obstinacy.
