Night projections — Garonne river bank

At the same time, Yann Kersalé is offering a screening at the Canal de Brienne.

He lives and works in Paris.

The Bazacle dam provokes a playful ebullition that incites the gaze, that creates a light. The remanence of light in water, a living material, a material that can be taken, a material that can be malleable, a material at all. The intervention consists in photographing the light of this ebullition to translate it into graphed forms. They will become matter and will be printed on fabrics attached to the lights of the Garonne promenade, thus becoming lanterns from the Pont Neuf to the Bazacle causeway. It is a static sequence of the river's potential activity. A freeze frame tilted onto the bank.
