Sylvain Prunenec - Olivia Grandville - Emmanuelle Huynh - Claudia Triozzi - Dominique Petitgand - David Shea
Serge Laurent, currently in charge of the performing arts at the Centre Georges Pompidou, has been invited to design the Soirées Nomades du Printemps de Cahors for the third consecutive year, according to the concept of the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain. The Soirées Nomades offer spectators a different approach to live performance, by inviting choreographers to intervene in the very spaces of the exhibitions, at the Docks.
This year, Sylvain Prunenec, a regular guest at the Printemps de Cahors, adopts this rule of the game and continues his reflection on the form of the choreographic journey.
The choreographer Olivia Grandville presents Phases, a show for informal spaces that adapts to the architecture of the exhibitions.
Emmanuelle Huynh, whose collaborations with visual artists form the basis of most of her work, also proposes an intervention designed for the venue.
Finally, Claudia Triozzi installs her rituals and sketches in micro-interiors where everyday acts go awry.
In the darkness of the cinema Le Quercy, Dominique Petitgand invites spectators to a broadcast of his sound pieces where voices, silences, noises and music contribute to drifting the reality of the narrative towards an indeterminate and dreamlike space-time.
Electronic music will also be present again in Cahors this year, with David Seha whose work linked to the image develops a new form of musical composition. Around his live performance, other musicians and DJs will perform during a special evening.
