Born in 1967, she lives and works in London.
Sam Taylor-Wood's video installations evoke fragments of cinematic fictions operating in an indexical mode, where the violence of feelings and the solitude of individuals are expressed. Her photographic panoramas, including a soundtrack, make it possible to capture several situations in the same interior and to construct a draft of a narrative.
In Cahors she presents her video Brontosaurus, in which a naked man dances to techno music with classical ballet movements.
