Roman Signer

Born in 1938, he lives and works in St. Gallen (Switzerland).

Romain Signer's work has been articulated between sculpture and performance since the early 1970s. The circulation of liquids, the resistance of materials, gases and explosions constitute a body of work where the question of the future of the art object takes on a poetic and humorous dimension. About twenty photographs are exhibited in parallel with the outdoor installation he created in Cahors.
