Born in 1965, he lives and works in Glasgow (Scotland).

In his photographs and videos, Roderick Buchanan is interested in the clues (objects, clothes) that define the conditions of belonging to universal models of identification. Buchanan, not without humour, tracks the similarities and dissimilarities of a contemporary identity that transgresses geographical boundaries. In his recent videos, he tries to pervert the rules of various sports (hockey, volleyball).

In Cahors, he presents a new work, based on the crossing of a tunnel in Glasgow.
