Born in 1962, he lives and works in Paris.
From the poster-taking of the 1950s to the photographic works of today, via hypnagogic photos, the work of Raymond Hains is above all a permanent flow of thought, a rhizomatic circulation of associations of ideas, word games, and analogies that envisage the world as a network of signs infinitely modified by memory and fantasy.
Raymond l'Abstrait, as Pierre Restany called him, is exhibiting in Cahors a new series of photographs taken around the city itself.
Commissioned by the Délégation aux arts plastiques, Ministère des Culture et de la Communication.
