Born in 1967, he lives and works in Paris.
Olivier Dollinger's work often originates from "domestic performances", which deal with the body, its modification (his self-portraits with drugs), and its confrontation with the other. A mannequin in reanimation, named Andy, is the inert protagonist of several of his works, which various participants try to reanimate, like so many "lost in advance" acts.
In Cahors, he presented a video entitled Quelques plaisagues Carambar, in which the act of reading the joke in a Carambar wrapper while chewing is prevented by its very repetition.
