Peter Fischli

David Weiss

Born in 1946, he lives and works in Zürich (Switzerland).

Peter Fischli and David Weiss have been working together since the end of the 1970s, and have done exemplary work during the 1980s, both in the construction of a parodic and derisory universe (the series of unstable assemblages Stiller Nachmittag) and in the recording of a reality whose banality becomes hallucinatory (the series of airports, suburban gardens, mountains, flowers, etc.).

As a tribute to their work, their film Der rechte Wag, an unusual dialogue between a rat and a panda in a romantic nature, is presented in Cahors in the form of a monumental projection.
