Erwin Wurm

Born in 1954, he lives and works in New York (USA) and Vienna.

The relationship between sculpture, the body and the image has been at the centre of Erwin Wurm's thinking since his work with clothes used against the grain, deformed by the body that inhabits them.

In Cahors, he presents a large part of the One-Minute Sculptures series, photographs taken in parallel with the public display project he is carrying out especially for the people of Cahors.
