Doug Aitken

Born in 1968, he lives and works in Los Angeles (USA).

Nourished by the urban and film culture of Los Angeles, Doug Aitken creates video installations and photographs both in the artistic and commercial spheres, notably by making videos for various groups. In his video work Hysteria (1998), presented in Cahors for the first time in Europe, he explores the world beyond appearances, in this case that of human impulses.
