Sylvain Prunenec - Loïc Touzé - Balanescu Quartet - Le Bal Moderne
In Cahors the nights are nomadic...
With the desire to create a dialogue between the visual and performing arts, the Printemps de Cahors is renewing its invitation to the Soirées Nomades, organised by Serge Laurent. This year, in addition to the Bal Moderne, dancers, musicians and DJs, among the most creative and astonishing of today, offer the public of Cahors the opportunity to share with them the great artistic mix of the end of the century.
Sylvain Prunec
The Soirées Nomades du Printemps de Cahors give, for the second consecutive time, carte blanche to this young choreographer who pursues a reflection on the form of the "choreographic journey".
Loïc Touzé
Loïc Touzé's writing plays with the choreographic form, it wears it down, mistreats it, shakes it up, confronts it with time, space and music. Loïc Touzé presents in Cahors a solo, "Dans les allées, les allées" (1995), and a new choreographic piece created for the occasion.
Balanescu Quartet
Composer and former member of Michael Nyman's ensemble, Alexander Balanescu leads this atypical English string quartet which draws its roots from contemporary music, jazz and rock (notably their famous cover of certain tracks by the electronic group Kraftwerk).
Le Bal Moderne
Young contemporary choreographers (Marion Lévy, Frédéric Werlé, François Laroche-Valière) create short, simple and playful dances that they teach to the public for an evening. These short choreographies, danced individually or in groups, reconcile everyone with the pleasure of dancing.
With the participation of NRJ.
